Job Summary

Amnesty International UK (AIUK) has a simple aim: an end to human rights abuses. About the role

In this role you will be working on the priority area of Racial Justice at AI UK, which is one of six priority areas for the organisation. AI UK aims to identify and create opportunities to learn, develop and act externally so that we can meaningfully apply our weight as a movement to help end the destructive ways in which systemic racism impacts the human rights of Black and minoritised ethnic people.

The Racial Justice Campaigners will support the delivery of our Racial Justice strategy 2022-2030, working with the Racial Justice Lead to support efforts inside and outside the organisation to share our human rights analysis, advocate and campaign to win for racialised communities. The role may be for you if:

  • You’re skilled in you understand how to deal with tricky situations with tact and intent.
  • You can communicate complex ideas to different audiences.
  • You collaborate and positively contribute to an inclusive culture.
  • You also have a good knowledge of racial justice and coalition building.
