Through a data-informed process we deliver award-winning, relevant content to our audience of influential decision makers.The Camera/Editor Intern will support the delivery of award-winning film and digital branded content for clients of CNN International globally.The Camera/Editor Intern primary responsibility is assisting the Senior Camera Operator & Editor.Areas of ResponsibilityMAJOR ACTIVITIESAssist Senior Camera Operator/Editor in the filming and editing of Create’s flagship campaigns. Attend production and pitch briefings to understand the post-production and camera/cinematography requirements for projects.Manage department camera, sound, lighting kit with detailed equipment list and check in and out systemData Wrangle and manage duplication, and safe delivery of rushesBacking up files to serverSupport in transporting equipment internationallyTest, clean, prepare, weigh, pack camera, sound, lighting and gimble kit ready for deployment on shootsSupport with kit lists and equipment CarnetsSupport team of editors in file management and data backupsSupport in edit assistant capacity using Premiere ProAreas of AccountabilityMust be very organised and technically savvy individual in order to manage and maintain complex department camera, sound, lighting and post production equipment.Selection criteria Essential: The Camera/Editor Intern will have: The eligibility to work in the United Kingdom and travel abroad if required.Knowledge and interest in how filming and editing equipment works.Strong eye for composition and filming and post production hardware technical abilities.A strong interest in film, documentary, commercials and branded contentA demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams at the same timeStrong communication skills and can demonstrate emotional intelligence when building relationships with key internal stakeholders and clientsDetail orientated approach to organisation and file deliveryExperienced use of Premiere ProDesirable: Broad Knowledge in and experience of Cameras, Lenses and Colour GradingPractical Film Course Graduate (BA/MA)Competency assessmentKey skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organisational and administrative skills Exceptional attention to detailAbility to multi-task and work under pressure to strict deadlines Ability to build and maintain good working relationships Ability to work with confidential information with complete discretionAbility to work both autonomously and as a team player in a small team environment when requiredStrong ability to learn new internal software systemsAdditional InformationThis role will require regular interaction with Create teams globally.Must have Full Clean Driving LicenseHow We Get Things Done…This last bit is probably the most important!
