Job description
We are looking for a Chef - preferably with some experience - to join our store in Elephant Park!
We are a casual dining restaurant providing a variety range of contemporary Asian infused food, from fresh handmade sushi to hot food such as Chicken Katsu Curry, which has been extremely popular.
Who we look for?
- You must be flexible to work as your work week will be via rota.
- You must be able to do closing shifts (store closes 9PM).
- You must be able to cover at least 3 days a week.
- Keys to succeed in your role will be enthusiasm, dedication and resilience.
- Potential Candidates must have a great attitude and be willing to learn from their managers.

Duties:
- Your duties will include those that are commonly required at the back of house in restaurants.
- Cut & Prepare ingredients.
- Marinate & Cook Kokoro Hot Food dishes, trainings provided.
- Complete daily tasks from the Branch Manager.
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness at the store.
- Display sufficient level of Food Safety & Hygiene knowledge and practices.
Preferred Traits:
- Dedication to learn & provide high quality of service.
- Previous experience within the industry is preferred.
- Bonus if you have Food Hygiene Level 2.
Working hours: Flexible
Disclaimer: Salary is depending on age and experience & higher salaries are reserved for management positions of the stores.
- 16-17: £6.80
- 18-19: £7.80
- 20-22: £9.20
- 23 over: £9.50
Salary may increase depending on your completed trainings (240 hours), on job abilities, attitude at work, which will result in a promotion.

Part-time hours: 30-40 per week
Salary: £9.20-£10.50 per hour
