Job description
Responsibilities:
- Take customer orders and process payments using a cash register
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the cafe area
- Stock and replenish inventory as needed
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in cash handling and food service is preferred
- Knowledge of basic math skills for cash handling and retail calculations
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Structured working pattern, 3 weekends working, 1 weekend off. 1 day a week to be discussed at interview dependant on availability.
