We are looking for an experienced Butcher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing sausages and cured meat products for sale. This position requires an individual with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety and hygiene standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in the butchering industry, knowledge of sausage making and cured meat production, and a passion for providing customers with quality products.
Working Hours 8am - 4pm/5pm. 40 - 45hrs per week. Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Cut and trim meat.
- Make a variety of sausages, cured meats and sausage rolls.
- Pack sausages, cured meats and sausage rolls ready for wholesale and retail trade.
- Pack national meat parcel shipments.
- Understand and adhere to food safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Operate cutting tools and equipment in a safe manner.
- Provide customer service to customers.
- Weigh, wrap, and label meat products for sale.
- Maintain inventory of meat products.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £24,128.00-£27,144.00 per year
