Fantastic opportunity to work with a growing business to business, marketing services consultancy as their new Business Manager / Account Manager.
They work with brand marketers and with communications agencies to help both maximise their business potential working with some of the most successful partnerships in the creative space. They position themselves as Experts in Marketing Ecosystems.
Currently based in central London, they are a team of 18 consultants and business managers where culture is key to them and by working together with a can-do attitude and collective attitude benefits all.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The new Business Manager will be supporting the team of consultants across all key practice areas for Creative, Media, Social and PR.
Key tasks include Business management on live briefs across the company to include:
- Key point of liaison with clients, agencies, and any additional stakeholders
- Document and materials control and distribution
- Database maintenance
- Meeting scheduling and itinerary development
- Drafting briefs and agendas
- Proofing and editing all outbound communications in Word and PPT
- Fielding media calls appropriately
- Supporting Lead Consultants as required, including attending meetings
- The Business Manager will have the opportunity to input into the strategic response to each client challenge, learning from and shadowing the highly experienced Lead Consultants
- Agency liaison
- Maintaining contact and dialogue with key staff at communications agencies
- Help maintain the company CRM
- Marketing and New Business support: this includes assisting Business Managers to deliver any marketing and/ or new business campaigns including email marketing, webinars, research, surveys and reports
- Building and office management liaison
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: MUST HAVES
- Ideally an individual with experience of client liaison/customer service/account management
- A passion for communications and the communications industry
- Great communication skills – both written and oral
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to multi-task and to work to deadlines
- Attention to detail
- Diary management and meeting scheduling skills
- Competency on Microsoft packages including Word, PPT, Excel, Outlook, Teams
- Experience of database work and CRM management
Every employee works in their central London office on a Tuesday, however the rest of working can be remote and they are able to offer flexible working hours too.
