An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Broughton Site for a Business Integration Manager to the Head of Quality Manufacturing Wing (QW). The successful candidate will gain significant exposure to a range of Quality and company strategic topics and will have the opportunity to interact with internal stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, as well as senior external stakeholders including members of the Quality Leadership Team. Working in close partnership with the Head of and his leadership team, the role is an exciting opportunity for significant contribution to the Quality activities, personal development and mentoring. HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM

  • Core responsibilities will include supporting in managing day-to-day business activities including operational and functional topics, as well as strategic and transformation topics to enable the achievement of the annual objectives.

  • Participate in the creation, prioritisation and analysis of all working files for the Head of. Support the Head of in anticipating issues, prioritising plant and external topics.

  • Represent the Head of in meetings where appropriate, and ensuring post meeting debrief and action follow up.

  • Review and adapt the QW governance to align to company objectives and structure and organise QW meetings in line with QW governance. Prepare senior management meetings by proactively co-ordinating the creation, alignment and buy off all relevant materials. Work in close collaboration with the QW administration support, to ensure the team is fully enabled to achieve a valuable review. Ensure that the necessary challenge and alignment process is in place for any external submissions or strategic decisions.

  • Contribute to the organisation of Quality events and senior stakeholder visits, including Head of Quality Airbus. Engage in Employee communication, by ensuring inputs to team talks, leadership communication, employee roadshows and regular newsletters are provided in a timely manner.

  • Support management of Head of budget.

  • Where necessary lead specific projects, typically co-ordinating cross functionally and in some cases trans-national.

  • Maintain an external network across Q and OW to enable efficient lines of communication and engagement in any transnational topics impacting QW.

  • Encourage a speak-up culture and contribute to maintaining the plant values and Ethics and Compliance.

ABOUT YOU

  • Given the importance of the documentation and projects the candidate will be involved in, they will need to consistently demonstrate strong attention to detail, rigour in assessing and compiling inputs, and focus on delivering in line with commitments to high standards.

  • Proven project management, strong organisational and planning skills, with ability to proactively anticipate challenges and deliver on time to commitments

  • Ability to work collaboratively with others as well as autonomously and take the initiative.

  • Strong interpersonal skills - stakeholder management, collaborating and working well with others at levels of the organisation.

  • Strong communication skills - clarity, consistency and adaptability of communication styles.

  • Experience in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Programme or Operations would be desirable.
