Leyton UK are currently looking for experienced Business Development Executives to join our Manchester office.

The Business Development Executive role
Our Business Development Managers prospect & convert new business clients for Leyton UK, supporting them to make Tax Credit claims with HMRC. They self-generate lucrative new contracts for Leyton UK using their strong sales acumen, understanding of our multiple complex tax incentive products and a proven ability to influence decision makers.
Our Business Development Managers are consultative and spend time throughout the sales cycle understanding the needs of their clients and creating bespoke strategic solutions to support them to maximising their revenue potential at all opportunities.
Business Development Managers at Leyton UK are product experts across the multiple Innovation & Tax Incentive schemes we offer. They clearly communicate complex products and services to new business clients and will be able to tailor their communication style to reach and meet stakeholders at all levels across any business they approach.
Our Business Development Managers are given full autonomy to generate and drive new business. They are trusted to source new leads and manage their own portfolio of prospect clients, giving them the freedom to excel using their extensive sales experience. How they meet and exceed their financial targets is intrusted to them.
The teams do their best business development with new clients in-person or over Teams. We encourage our Business Development Managers to meet clients in-person where possible, so the role can involve regular travel. Our city centre offices offer a fantastic environment for the days you are in the office.

The Candidate
We are looking for Business Development Executives with a proven track record of excelling in a self-generated 360 sales role. You will have extensive B2B sales experience from any sector but with a focus on large, complex, high value accounts. Experience of selling high value consultancy work would be a big advantage.
You should be someone who thrives working in a collaborative environment and is excited by the chance to become a product expert across numerous tax incentive schemes. You will be driven to work in a high performing, target driven environment, balancing short-term pressures with long-term goals.
You don’t need to come from an R&D Tax background, but if you have experience selling to finance professionals this is fantastic. We have a world class learning & development team & the best people managers to support you to learn the products we offer.
You must be willing to travel across the UK to meet clients when required.
