Business Development Executive
Location: West Molesey
Salary: £25,000-£27,000 plus commission
Duration: Permanent
Hours: 8:45am-5:30pm
Summary of a Business Development Executive
This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding sustainable food brand in the Surrey area. The Business Development Executive will be responsible for growing sales in line with the overall business plan by identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will be energetic and organised with a willingness to learn and progress with the company. Open to candidates who are looking for a fresh new career path or the desire to kick start their career in a growing buisness.
- Using territory knowledge and industry networking to identifying new potential client.
- Reaching out to prospective clients on company database.
- Visiting clients to develop new business.
- Attending trade/consumer shows.
- Establishing credible relationships with customers in our key growth areas.
- Working with operations team to forecast new business.
- Managing your own diary.
- Taking accountability for overall sales performance against KPI’s.
- Weekly sales reporting to the team.
- P&L management.
- Focus on larger export customers including Middle East, Australia, Canada.
- Focus on key areas in line with the business plan (Airlines, Food Service, Grocery).
- Passion for a foodie brand and the willingness to work towards as core mission.
- An enthusiastic go-getter looking to build a career within a growing business.
- Ability to calculate sales margins/P&L/pricing.
- Good literacy skills with the ability to compose clear and concise emails.
- Great communication skills.
- 1-2 years’ experience within an FMCG B2B sales role is desirable but not essential.
