The desired candidate will be a highly client focused, motivated, ambitious and commercially driven with strong analytical skills. The candidate will be truly internationally oriented, and has a background in, or relevant exposure to the airline, MRO, or aircraft finance industry.
Essential Duties and responsibilities:
Responsible for all origination and trading of whole assets and packages of parts, ensuring the quality, depth, generation, and management of pipeline of opportunities.
- Proactively seek targeted opportunities through market research and analysis
- Generate new revenue via marketing, business development, negotiation, closing, supporting with implementation and account management
- Build, capture and leverage an understanding of customers need in Americas
- Work closely with Regional Accounts Director Americas to ensure strategic targets and objectives are aligned
- Support VP Sales and the Strategic Business Development Team in developing partnerships with key external stakeholders aimed at accelerating the company’s growth
- Support the origination/trading team on acquisition opportunities
- Negotiation of sales opportunities – individual component sales though to long-term contracted programmes
- Maintain close liaison with the sales executives to ensure all sales quotations and transactions are accurately recorded and maintained in Quantum
- Generate and disseminate Market intelligence through CRM System
- Generate sales reports for internal stakeholders
- Coordinate internal departments to ensure delivery terms are met
- Possess full core competency knowledge for the range of Aerfin Ltd services across a variety of aircraft and engine types
Person Specification:
Essential:
- Internationally orientated and has a background or relevant exposure to the airline, MRO, or aircraft finance industry
- We are looking for someone with 6+ years’ experience in the aviation industry
Required:
- Be well connected within the aviation industry, with airlines and MROs in the Americas
- A highly self-motivated and ambitious team player, who is self-sufficient but can work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to maintain continued alignment and communication and to deliver best in class customer service
- Relevant aerospace experience in a customer or sales focused role
- A university degree in engineering or finance or another relevant subject
- Excellent networking skills and proven ability to source transactions
- Excellent investment evaluation techniques
- Creating an inclusive environment together with building and embracing diversity to innovate more effectively
- Go the extra mile for customers as well as internal stakeholders
