Job description
As a BDA, you will identify, research, and contact stakeholder groups for POLITICO’s subscription offerings. The role is ideal for goal-oriented candidates looking to develop valuable sales experience. The position requires a highly organized and resilient individual who has excellent attention to detail. The individual must be an excellent communicator who is adaptable and used to working within a fast-paced environment. It is essential that this person is able to use their own initiative while being a team player. A keen understanding of public affairs, government affairs, and communications is helpful.
This role is based in our London, UK office with a hybrid working model.
What You’ll Do:
- Identify and contact prospective clients using both inbound leads and prospecting strategies, including cold calling
- Schedule quality visits for Sales Executives with top-tier contacts through consistent and creative outreach
- Research potential clients to build a robust pipeline of prospects & identify key information to prepare Sales Executives for sales appointments
- Coordinate meeting logistics and prepare marketing materials
- Assist Sales Executives throughout the evaluation process to ensure prospective clients receive the highest quality service and have an optimal experience
What You’ll Need:
Required qualifications:
- 1-2 years professional experience (including internship/externship roles)
- A university degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and strong client service ethic
- Written and verbal fluency in English

- Highly organized
- Perform well under pressure
- Able to prioritize and recognize business critical matters
