An excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our Property Services team in Bolton. The purpose of the role is to be responsible for analysing business processes, eliciting and documenting requirements, and providing insights to drive organisational improvements.
The successful candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders to understand business needs, conduct data analysis, and support the development and implementation of solutions. The role requires a strong blend of analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration and deliver successful projects.

What you’ll do:
- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders, including site/operations, commercial, preconstruction and support services.
- Conduct thorough business process analysis to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Create clear and comprehensive documentation of business requirements, including functional specifications, use cases, and user stories.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business optimisation.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure that proposed solutions align with business needs and objectives.
- Evaluate the feasibility and potential impact of proposed solutions, considering factors such as cost, benefits, risks, and existing systems.
- Act as a liaison between the operational teams and the IT department, ensuring effective communication and understanding of requirements.
- Support the testing and validation of implemented solutions to ensure they meet defined requirements and quality standards.
- Assist in change management activities by creating training materials, conducting user training sessions, and providing post-implementation support.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate project performance metrics, seeking feedback from stakeholders, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to business analysis.
Have you got what it takes:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex data and make data-driven recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with various business analysis techniques and tools.
- Proficiency in documenting requirements and creating relevant project documentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects and priorities.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies, process modelling and workflow analysis is a plus.
