A Business Analyst is now sought by the IT and application services team for this global specialist service provider. As the Business Analyst you will play a pivotal role in understanding users' business needs, defining requirements, and translating them into actionable solutions.
You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and clients, to ensure successful project delivery. Your expertise will help bridge the gap between business objectives and technical implementation, ensuring that our applications align with our clients' goals.
Key responsibilities of the Business Analyst:
Essential experience of the Business Analyst:
Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA) and experience of working within a facilities environment would be a plus.
This Business Analyst role is home based with the requirement to travel to Birmingham on a reasonably regular basis. The salary offered is up to £50,000 plus full Company benefits.

Gather and document detailed business requirements, user stories, and use cases through interviews, workshops, and analysis.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Analyse and prioritize requirements to create clear and concise documentation.
Participate in project planning, estimation, and monitoring, providing insights on resource allocation and project timelines.
Assist in testing and validation of applications to ensure they meet business needs and quality standards.
Assist in user training and support documentation development.
Essential experience of the Business Analyst:
Proven experience working in an application services or software development environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in requirement management tools and methodologies.
Solid understanding of software development lifecycles and project management principles.
