Job description
The UK Health Security Agency exists to protect and improve the nation’s health and wellbeing and reduce health inequalities. The organisation provides the general government, local government, the NHS, Parliament, industry and the public with evidence-based professional, scientific and delivery expertise and support.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe UK Health Security Agency are looking to hire an experienced administrator to provide day-to-day administrative support to the London Health Protection Team, whilst maintaining working relationships with a variety of stakeholders both internal and external to the organisation and undertaking project support for the wider team.
The role is inclusive of, but not limited to:
- Minute Taking
- Manage and monitor a high-volume inbox, responding and escalating enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Data Input of confidential information.
- Data processing and analysis
- Ensure that all associated administration duties are carried out in line with company procedures.
- Support wider colleagues to ensure efficient services within the team.
- Work independently on a hybrid basis, with travel to the Canary Wharf Office twice a week.
- Significant experience in a fast business operations administrator role
- Significant experience in minute taking, inbox management and general team administration
- Experience working with a large team, managing workflows and day to day operations
- Comprehensive knowledge and regular use of Microsoft Office Applications including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and video conferencing software.
- Good verbal and written communication skills including the ability to produce effective and clear written communications to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Detailed approach to work and able to work within a framework to complete tasks independently to a very high and accurate standard.
This is a 6 month fixed term contract, with further possibility of extension.
