OVERTIME PAID AT £23.32 PER HOUR AND NIGHTS OUT PAID AT £40.00 PER NIGHT

HGV CATEGORY CE (Class 1) - TANKER DRIVERS (DAYS 4 ON, 4 OFF)

O LICENCE BASE: Newport

Employing over 500 staff across its network of UK manufacturing sites, with an on-going re-investment programme to improve Health & Safety, efficiency and business development, ICL are leaders in the Industry and key suppliers to many of the UK’s leading Water Treatment Companies.

We are currently recruiting for LGV Class 1 ADR Tanker Drivers working out of our Newport Operating Centre;

Key Qualifications Required for the role;

· Class 1 ( Cat CE Vocational Licence )

· ADR in Tanks to cover min Class 8 & 9

· Driver CPC Vocational Qualification

Key Requirements of a Driver;

· Health & Safety minded

· Professional with high standards

· Fully conversant with Drivers Hours and WTD Rules

· Excellent Driving Skills

· Flexible can-do attitude

The Role;

· Delivering hazardous chemicals in tankers throughout the UK

· Compressor discharge as well as pump draw off at certain customers

· Working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern ( + Overtime shifts )

· Doing nights out as and when required

The Training;

· Full 2 – 3 weeks comprehensive training package carried out alongside an experienced Driver Trainer, followed by a final “ pass out “ with a Senior Assessor

· Refresher Training on day 1 with Keep Legal, Drivers Hours, First Use Inspections and Company O Licencing

· Full Company induction to include all PPE requirements and site procedures/ protocol

· On-going regular assessments and re-training

The Salary Package;

· Annual Gross Salary (Paid Weekly) for the 4 on 4 off shift (average 3.5 day week) = £41,207.16

· Overtime Paid for additional shifts at £23.32 for all hours worked

· Nights-Out Paid at £40 per night out

· Current 4-on-4-off shift average gross earnings tracking at £60,000 per annum (inclusive of all OT shifts and N/Outs)

· Holiday entitlement pro-rata to 16 days per annum + Bank Holidays ( if shifted to work on BH, a day in lieu elsewhere )
