Salary: National – circa £45,000, London - circa £55,000

Here at Aviva, we are looking for a Data Quality Manager to join our amazing Data team!
A bit about the job:
Business data is a fundamental component of Aviva’s assets: high quality, well-managed business data is a key enabler for the successful delivery of our business strategy, for example Aviva collects personal data from individuals and processes it on a variety of systems, which is then used to provide customers with products and services. Understanding and protecting our data therefore allows us to understand and protect our customers; using specialist knowledge, the team provide advice and direction to ensure data remains protected and true. This role profile covers all responsibilities of role holders at this grade and your specific accountabilities will consist of a selection of those listed, according to the primary purpose(s) of your role.
As the data privacy manager, you will make recommendations for data owners and accountable execs but will not make key decisions.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Experience of data quality analysis and monitoring against complex insurance datasets (Commercial and Personal General Insurance preferred)
Experience in data quality problem resolution across multiple business and IT stakeholders
Understanding of General Insurance business and associated data processes
Fluent in SQL across multiple platforms (e.g., Oracle, Teradata)
Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders and knowledge of data governance and compliance
What you’ll get for this role:
National starting salary circa £45,000, London starting salary circa £55,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
