The Role
The Business Analyst will work with teams across the business to understand current processes, identify opportunities, and deliver improvements to increase efficiency, effectiveness and quality. The role will carry out work as part of continuous improvement cycles, as well as support projects through solution consultation and design.
The role will be responsible for end-to-end solution implementation – facilitating scoping sessions, translating user requirements, presenting solution options, ensuring successful delivery of the improvement, and updating all related documentation.
This role is a full-time position, currently with a hybrid working arrangement. All employees are expected to attend the office in Worthing, West Sussex on a regular basis.
Salary is £35 - £45k per annum DOE.
In this role you will:
· Facilitate scoping sessions with stakeholders to analyse business needs and identify detailed requirements.
· Present findings and recommendations with clarity, communicating these to key stakeholders.
· Write up detailed and clear business requirements that can be translated for the Business Systems team to work from.
· Carry out testing and manage defects through to resolution to ensure solutions are built to a high quality and in line with requirements.
· Ensure all impacts of change are understood, managed and mitigated.
· Manage the change sign-off process, ensuring stakeholders have visibility of impacts and manage any concerns or objections through to resolution.
· Collate feedback and carry out performance analysis to measure the impact of changes.
· Map ‘as is’ processes across the business, ensuring they are robust and current.
· Lead process improvement initiatives across the business to identify opportunities and streamline processes, working with stakeholders to design the ‘to be’.
· Work closely with the Learning and Development team to ensure that training is aligned to processes.
· Work closely with QA/Dept Managers to ensure observations/consequences are based on robust standards.
Experience and Qualifications
The Business Analyst will have:
· 2+ years of Business Analyst experience
· LEAN/Business Analyst qualification or equivalent (desirable)
· MS Dynamics knowledge and experience (desirable)
The Business Analyst will ideally have knowledge of or experience with:
· Facilitating meetings with various business stakeholders to reach clear outcomes
· Capturing business requirements and translating them into technical requirements
· Capturing ‘as is’ business processes and designing ‘to be’ processes
· Proactively identifying opportunities for enhancements and efficiencies
· End-to-end solution delivery and supporting rollouts of changes
