Atlas Technica is seeking a Business Analyst. The Business Analyst will be a member of the Product Management Team and assist the Product Manager with initiatives to meet the needs of both internal and external stakeholders to position Atlas Technica as the leading IT Managed Service Provider in the alternative investment space. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a desire to learn and grow. The Business Analyst will be the vital link between the business and technical teams to ensure the successful and timely deployment of our software portal and assist with other product initiatives as needed.
Key Responsibilitis and Skills:
- Develop business requirements, objectives, and constraints for proprietary software portal.
- Collaborate with Product Manager on roadmap planning and prioritization.
- Participate in daily standups, status calls, and stakeholder meetings.
- Communicate and validate requirements with relevant stakeholders.
- Write clear and well-structured business requirements and user stories.
- Provide guidance in development of the portal design, test plans, and user documentation.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing and data checkouts post-production.
- Apply experiences across various software and/or systems development processes to define and collect metrics and identify and implement opportunities for improvement to increase quality of requirements and speed time-to-market.
- Constantly be on the lookout for ways to deliver better value to clients.
- Communicate key findings and insights to Product team.
- Continuous improvement and contribution to the Product Management team as well as firm wide initiatives.
- Job hours for UK candidates are from 11a-8p local time to be able to overlap with US teams in various time zones (East and West Coast).
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Experience using business tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence for task planning, tracking, and documentation needs.
- Familiarity with and experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Experience with software development methodologies and models designed to enhance or develop software products.
- Experience documenting business and user requirements, user stories, and sizing estimates.
- Outstanding analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to learn new concepts and quickly adapt to changing requirements in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to effectively present findings and influence stakeholders.
- Two or more years of Business Analyst experience.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Analysis, Business Administration, IT, or related field.
