LEYF is looking for a talented individual to join our Executive Management Team as our Director of People & Culture. With ~900 employees and over £27m annual turnover, LEYF is the largest charitable childcare social enterprise in the UK and primarily delivers its social purpose through a family of 40 community nurseries across London, reaching over 4,200 children annually. You will join LEYF at a critical time for the childcare and Early Years sector. LEYF is celebrating its 120th anniversary, during which time we have continued to be pioneers. In the last 10 years, LEYF has grown quickly, and the need to keep the ‘family local’ feel as we become a larger enterprise is paramount. We need our People function, infrastructure and practices to step up to enable our business to be high performing while preserving our culture and not compromising on our quality of care and education for our children. About the role… The successful applicant will have extensive opportunity to make this role their own, taking charge of improving our People approach, delivery, and impact. Big picture… You will sit in the Executive Management Team, being an integral part of building effective people culture and practices here at LEYF Execute an empathetic and effective and relevant approach for our People function, purpose, and structure so that we operate as one coordinated high-performing service.
