The UK Country Project Office designs and implements high profile programmes and projects throughout the UK.
The team reports directly to the UK Territory management with a broad exposure to senior stakeholders.
Job Purpose & Scope of role
The Business Analyst will work alongside a Project Manager, Programme Manager or Work Stream Lead to deliver business analysis within projects or programmes or standalone analysis of varied topics.
The Responsibilities
- Performs and documents analysis / review / study on specified topics autonomously
- Understands the nature of changes (regulatory, strategic, transformational etc.) , assesses the impact of those changes, captures, analyses and documents associated requirements
- Documents target operating models, standard operating procedures, processes, test scenarios, meeting minutes etc.
- Identifies risks and issues and develops mitigation proposals to be reviewed with the project team
- Ensures quality management and control awareness of work delivered.
- Manages multiple assignments in parallel and prioritise autonomously
- Builds and maintains relationships with sponsors, key stakeholders and business functions
- Provides regular management reporting on project progress
- Adheres to CPO standards and reporting structure
Skills & Experience Required
- Detailed knowledge of the investment banking (processes, tools, regulation etc.)
- Experience delivering complex analysis, reviews or documentations
- Experience working on transformation or regulatory projects
- Sound working knowledge of policies, procedures, regulations
- Good written and oral English skills and ability to articulate technical issues
- Excellent analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail
- Stakeholders management skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritise independently
- Capacity to understand the bigger picture to appreciate context of the assignment
- Appetite to learn new concepts quickly and seek professional development.
- Proactively develops and deepens specialised knowledge and personal skills.
