A new and integral opportunity has arisen for a motivated Sales Director to join a leading, high growth, international durable consumer goods business.
About the company:
A global leader in their industry. They specialise in:
- The design, manufacture and supply of FMCG products including kettles, filtration products and associated products.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- The Sales Director will responsible to lead and manage the EMEA sales operations and team across consumer goods brands.
- Hitting and exceeding annual sales and margin targets for consumer goods within the EMEA region.
- Developing and executing robust plans to expand the customer base, whilst building strong customer relationships.
- Directing the regional sales management team- circa 6-7. Ensuring that capabilities and processes are constantly reviewed and enhanced.
- Ensuring brands remain leaders of innovation and are reflected across the website content and client interactivity.
- Regional and some international travel in line with business needs, with strong presentation skills.
Experience & Skills needed:
- Sales experience with consumer goods.
- Ideally connected with retailers, e.g John Lewis, Currys, AO.com etc.
- Strong people leadership skills, with experience in managing and developing a high performing team.
- Comfortable in a hands on role, leading from the front, pragmatic and setting strategies.
- Ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
