Role Summary
  • Biopharma Operations Partner role will serve as the primary point of contact to support BU Leads and streamline Biopharma Operations support; simplifying working processing and improve working efficiency in the US.
  • The Biopharma Operations Partner will serve as a commercial operations interface for key BU projects, offering strategic partnership and Ops accountability.
  • The Biopharma Operations Partner will strategically partner with BU Leads and other cross functional leaders to ensure future-oriented solutions are provided in a proactive manner, serving the commercial business’ work.
  • A deep understanding of the business will be essential to advise on and broker Biopharma Ops services and draw on solutions across multiple enabling functions within the US.
  • The Biopharma Operations Partner will have a strong grasp of commercial strategy to anticipate future needs of the business and help define future Biopharma Ops services.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Partners with Pfizer US commercial stakeholders and helps ensure future-oriented solutions are provided:
    • Acts on behalf of Biopharma Ops as a trusted advisor, partner, and point of accountability
    • Leverages and influences a broad and diversified stakeholder network at senior levels to drive key decisions across multiple stakeholder groups and get things done
    • Anticipates future needs of the business based on strategic objectives and effectively communicates among Biopharma Operations to inform opportunities
    • Highlights areas of potential opportunity for new Biopharma Ops services that will support commercial’s evolving business needs
  • Holds Business knowledge and leads across verticals and enabling functions
    • Has a deep understanding of the business, strategies, and key priorities related to the regional / BU businesses
    • Understands Pfizer business strategies, related business goals, commercial support needs and objectives
    • Is the orchestrator of Biopharma Ops service delivery to meet business needs and demands
    • Understands the US business strategy and is accountable to lead, own, develop and maintain regional processes to enhance value to commercial
    • Has a broad and deep knowledge of the Biopharma Ops service portfolio
    • Identifies opportunities in the US to improve service delivery processes and the Biopharma Ops services
    • Manages and escalates risks where appropriate to deliver the set objectives/goals
    • Drives change initiatives/projects and culture change across the team
    • Coaches team members to ensure continuous improvement
  • Ensures US business demand is managed and fulfilled with excellence:
    • Sets team standards and vision to ensure delivery of excellence
    • Identifies common service needs within the US business to assist with developing solutions across the region and other BUs
    • Understands and anticipates business needs and demand for Biopharma Ops services to satisfy client needs
    • Monitors client satisfaction and devises measures to increase client satisfaction from gained insights
    • Identifies how Biopharma Ops can continuously evolve its service delivery model consistent against the demands of the business
    • Leads implementation of business development agreements
    • Leads all product launches
Qualifications
  • BA Required; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years experience in the commercial pharmaceutical business
  • People management experience a plus
  • Experience in collaborating with senior level management
  • Extensive experience leading through matrix teams
  • Proven track record of delivering business performance
  • Drive for optimization/excellence
  • Track record for building strong cultures
  • Strong ability to drive collaboration and foster highly productive, functional relationships
  • Delivery of exceptional customer services and experiences
  • Demonstrated agility and ability to drive program completion in expedited timelines

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $144,900.00 to $241,500.00. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Pfizer compensation structures and benefit packages are aligned locally, the US Salary range provided does not apply to the Tampa, FL or any EXUS locations.
Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs and/or eligibility.
