We have an exciting opportunity for a Prom and Bridal Consultant to join us. We are looking for a friendly and outgoing person who loves fashion and is dedicated to delivering excellent customer service. The successful candidate will be hard working, enthusiastic, hands on and have the ability to work under pressure, adapting to key seasonal priorities throughout the business. Excellent customer service and ability to reach targets is key within our business.
We are a small business with great plans to grow our offer in the coming year, we are able to offer a supportive environment for someone who would like to develop their skills in the relevant areas. This role will involve weekend and evening shifts, usually working 5 days per week with 2 days off allocated by a rota system. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to get involved with a whole host of activities such as running customer appointments, social media and website promotion and marketing, preparing customer orders, stock taking, booking customer appointments, taking customer measurements, processing orders, creating fabulous displays and merchandising. The vacancy is for a fixed term of 3 months however there may be opportunity to extend this based on business need.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Take telephone calls, answering customer queries, booking appointments etc
· Greet customers upon arrival
· Allocate appointments in the diary
· Help customers to find their dream dress, recommend different styles etc to them
· Complete customer invoices and take measurements accurately
· Book customer collections and fitting appointments
· Take customer payments
· Create eye catching displays and visual merchandising
· Keep shop area clean and tidy
· Prepare customer dresses for collection
· Support with social media, website and other marketing platforms and photographing products.
· Marketing and promotion including onsite as well as some events such as wedding fayres

. Basic sewing skills will be advantageous but not essential

Job Types: Temp to perm, Full-time
Contract length: 3 months
Salary: £7.49-£10.42 per hour

- Day shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
