As our Brand Media Marketing Manager, you will be supporting delivery of the yearly media strategy, planning and ongoing effectiveness for Masterbrand and across the AA Group. You will work closely with multiple areas of the business, with priority relationships with external agencies and internal P&L marketing teams, bringing excellent exposure at all levels up to our Executive team as well as the wider marketing industry.
This is a great opportunity to join the AA and gain exposure to brand strategy, management and the creative production side of campaigns and content, as well as working on brand partnerships and events.
What will I be doing?
- Work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to support planning and execution of the long-term and short-term master-brand media strategy for The AA Group with consultancy + planning support for all P&L teams’ media strategy and marketing effectiveness
- Support the Senior Marketing Manager on senior leadership requests from a media perspective – stepping up as appropriate to defend and showcase our brand media approach, effectiveness questions, cascade key information – as well as presenting to wider business as required
- Day to day close working relationship with The AA’s offline media and marketing effectiveness agencies, inputting into contract negotiations with procurement, performance reviews of the agency and of their buying and planning, and supporting the need for a high-quality team, with the right fit for the AA always.
- Support the Senior Marketing Manager on marketing effectiveness and optimisation, including coordinating econometric modelling as required, building key insights and learning into continued planning
- Support brand social media strategy, planning and execution – from planned (objectives from FY to FY) to reactive (weather changes, cultural moments etc.)
What do I need?
Capability, Knowledge and Experience
- Proven experience in media planning, strategy and management, across agency and ideally client side
- Experience of working with multiple stakeholders across a large, complex organisation, whether agency or client side
- Excellent understanding of agency and agency management
- Experience of social media strategy, planning and execution
Education & Qualifications
- Graduate 2:1 or above
