Planet Ice Bristol is looking for Box Office staff to join our team!
As a member of the Box Office team, you are the first point of contact for all customers and visitors of Planet Ice. We are looking for people who can help us provide a welcoming, professional, and efficient service for our visitors, whilst promoting the various products we have at Planet Ice.
The role may also include working with other departments to support the smooth running of the operation. For example, this could mean assisting with Skate Hire or events the rink may be holding.
Key Role Responsibilities:
- Welcome all customers into the facility and ensure every visitor is greeted in a professional manner
-Assisting our customers with any queries they may have both in person and via telephone and/ or email.
-Any problems/faults in regard to health and safety must immediately be reported to the Duty Manager, ensuring all Health and Safety standards are adhered to.
-Operating tills and handling cash, cheques and PDQ machines to a high level of accuracy.
-To learn and maintain knowledge of information being delivered i.e., prices, opening times, lessons, parties and special promotions.
-Receive and sign out the floats, prepare the tills and complete all checks prior to opening.
-To take group bookings, party and lesson bookings, ensure all confirmation/deposits are complete.
-To attain, record and safely store away any lost property found or lost within Planet Ice.
-To assist with paperwork or administration required. i.e., databases etc
-Ensure the reception area is clean and tidy at all times.
-Inform the Box Office Manager/ Duty Manager of any customer issues and / or complaints.
-Tasks including opening and closing check sheets to be completed
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: £6.81-£10.54 per hour
