Our client, an experienced and well-established chartered accountants are seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join the team, in their offices in St. Austell town centre.
The role is multi-faceted; with administrative assistance, bookkeeping and payroll support required on a day-to-day basis.
The role:
- £22,500 per annum
- Monday to Friday
- 9am – 5pm
- Immediate start for the right candidate
- Based in central St. Austell
- Continuous training for the right candidate can be provided
Key duties:
- Assisting with the quarterly VAT return preparation
- Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into relevant
software, then producing and filing hard copies - Assisting in preparing employee wages monthly
- Providing support for client payroll services
- General admin support in the reception area
About you:
- Previous experience in a similar bookkeeping/accounts assistant position is highly advantageous
- Experience using SAGE software is helpful but not essential
- IT proficient including the use of all MS software
- Confident communicator, with the ability to speak with a wide range of cliental
- Quick learner, with the ability to be adaptable
