BMW Service Advisor Exeter, England

Vertu Motors
Full Time Exeter, England 28000 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

Vertu BMW Exeter

Vertu Motors has expanded its South West presence after completing an acquisition of 28 dealerships in Devon and Cornwall. We are now looking to develop and grow these businesses in what are first class locations that serve the wider communities.

Here at Vertu BMW Exeter, we have a fantastic opportunity for an individual to join our team as a Service Advisor. If you would like the opportunity to join one of the largest Motor Retailer's in the UK, then this could be the role for you!

We are offering a basic salary up to £28,000 with an OTE of up to £33,800 based on skills and experience.

The Service Advisor role is one of the most exciting and important roles in our dealership. Like us, you know that customer service isn't just about providing a service - its about building warm, trusted relationships. The role holder acts as the relationship manager between the customer and the workshop, ensuring our customer satisfaction levels are outstanding. You will be responsible for setting customer expectations and keeping in touch with them throughout the service or repair of their vehicle, up selling additional products and follow-up with the customer to ensure they are happy with the work carried out.

For this role we are looking for you to have previous customer service advisor experience, ideally gained from within the automotive industry, but this is not essential. Customer focus, relationship maintenance and communication skills are of paramount importance, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst meeting targets and deadlines. In addition, you will have time management skills and have a proactive approach to customer service.

If your application is successful, we will need to complete employment checks prior to you starting with us. Depending on the role, these can include us verifying your recent employment, address and credit history. We may also conduct a criminal record check and a driving licence check.

We are proud to be the Motor Retailer who invests more in our colleague's personal development than any other, so if you are successful, you can look forward to on-going training opportunities that provide you with the right career path, career progression and a range of benefits you would expect from an employer of choice which includes:

  • 25 days holiday rising with length of service – plus bank holidays

  • Access to our online rewards platform giving you cash back and discounts for multiple retailers

  • Preferential Service Rates

  • Colleague Purchase Scheme

  • Share Incentive Scheme

  • Pension

  • Enhanced Maternity and Paternity
