Insite Energy is a dynamic, fast growing utility services company that provides services to distributed energy schemes in the UK, particularly heat networks. The services provided include metering, billing and payment and scheme management. The core of our business is ensuring accurate billing and high-quality customer care.

As part of the Customer Service Team, the Billing Analyst (BA) is responsible for ensuring that customers are billed in an accurate and timely manner, assisting the Customer Service Team and handling billing-related queries from clients and customer service advisors.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The BA is responsible for monthly billing to customers on behalf of Insite Energy’s clients. Each BA is assigned a specific number of credit billed schemes to look after.

Responsibilities for the Billing Analyst include:

· Ensuring that customers are billed accurately and on time monthly.

· Creating Billing Templates monthly and sharing with Clients and Client Account Managers.

· Reviewing metering data and tariff information, and liaising with clients to ensure accurate billing.

· Resolving billing-related queries with the CSBilling support and Clients, rectifying errors where necessary.

· Sending out bills via Imail monthly.

· Producing ADHOC bills based on accurate meter reads provided by residents and Clients.

· Working with other departments to ensure a great customer journey.

As part of the Customer Service Team, the BA will also need to interact directly with customers and clients and in providing excellent customer service and will need to:

· Respond to queries raised by customers and clients in a polite, friendly, and timely manner.

· Investigate and resolve customer enquiries, ensuring the delivery of an efficient service to our customers.

· Ensure compliance with GDPR & Data Protection procedures at all times.

· Acting as the escalation contact for your schemes.

· Review any client queries regarding monthly reporting.

Specific work activities will include:

· Loading information into the billing platform (currently Velocity), reviewing and rectifying any errors, and subsequently liaising with clients to ensure billing is accurate.

· Liaising with all relevant departments to ensure that information/data is accurate

· Generating bills

· Generating billing templates

· Customer account reconciliation and responding to client queries in a timely manner.

· Taking ownership of the meter health for your schemes, ensuring any issues are escalated promptly to our Technical Resource and Planning Team.

Skills and Experience:

· Prospective applicants must be effective managers of time, due in part to short turnaround times for billing.

· Analysts must be able to effectively meet deadlines and prioritize work assignments for efficiency

· Excellent organisational skills

· Invoicing and account reconciliation

· Able to use Excel at an intermediate level

· CRB Basic clearance

· Eligible to work in the UK

· Two satisfactory references

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £22,000.00 per year
