- Hours: 22 hrs per week, 11 hr shift on a Sat or Sun each week day or night and 1 Night shift in the week of 17.30pm to 5.30am

Your new role
You will be joining us as a Travel Expert, assisting our clients with their travel enquiries over the phone & via email. The scope of the role covers not only flights but a range of other travel products such has hotels, car hire & rail. You will provide a professional consultancy service for all clients, anticipating their needs and offering a range of solutions to exceed their expectations, starting from their initial enquiry to final booking by converting general enquiries into bookings. Your main duty will be to deliver an outstanding customer journey on every contact ensuring the highest level of customer service is always offered.
What you need to succeed
You must be a clear and confident communicator with confidence in dealing with people at all levels. You'll need to possess great organization and time management skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be able to own & manage your own workload and it is essential you have previous Retail or Business Travel experience, with working knowledge of airline, rail fares and
ticketing.
- Work within our 24 hour team, assist clients with their travel enquiries both over the phone and via email, including (but not limited to) booking flights, hotels, rail, car-hire, airport parking and advising on travel visas requirements.
- Ensure the highest level of customer service is offered to internal and external customers at all times
- Convert general enquiries into actual bookings utilising all the tools and technology available.
- Take ownership of travel requests enquiries received in writing or over the telephone
- Ensure all communication both written and verbal is professional, accurate and conducted in a timely manner.

Essential
- Experience in Business Travel with strong Galileo knowledge
- Knowledge of the Travel Industry
- Proven customer service experience
- IT & Computer literate with experience of email and web based programs
- The ability to work under pressure, in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- The ability to Understand our clients needs and requirements.

What it takes to be a Business Travel Consultant;
- We use a variety of travel systems at Clarity so we are looking for experienced Business Travel Consultants who have excellent GDS skills
- Proven customer service experience, working with calls and emails
- The confidence and experience to work independently in an out of hours roles supporting our clients
- The ability to create travel arrangements including air, hotel and ground transportation
- The ability to work under pressure, in a fast paced environment, thinking logically and considering all relevant aspects
- Computer literate with experience of email and web based programs
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
