Recording Studios are an integral part of Leeds Conservatoire and are supported by an enthusiastic and supportive team. We are looking to appoint a Studio Technician to support students, staff and external visitors.
The postholder will be required to deal with enquiries and provide support for both staff and students in using recording studio equipment and systems.
Applicants will be educated to degree level in music technology related subject (e.g. music production, film/TV production, music technology, etc.) as well as demonstrating a high level of digital capability.
We are looking for candidates who are confident working with analogue and digital recording technologies, and supporting others with technology.
An understanding and prior experience of recording studio equipment and software is essential, plus you will be expected to interact with a range of people, so excellent communication and a strong customer service ethos is essential.
