Bar Staff
The Merton Inn is looking for a Part-Time Bartender to join our team. We are a dynamic, fast-casual Pub with an emphasis on Quality Drinks and local food. We are currently operating in Bootle and looking to expand our team to support our growing business.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about making drinks, passionate about encouraging a healthy eating culture, and will enjoy building fun and exciting things with our guests. We expect someone who is open to the idea that food and drink has power and can create a fun, new environment for our staff to learn, grow, and challenge themselves. We want someone who can keep up with the pace of a fast-paced operation while also being able to provide high-quality service and work with multiple teams throughout the day.
Qualifications:
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with staff, customers, and management
- Previous Experience is essential
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Answering phones
- Building customer interest in our menu
- Serving food in various stations including appetizers, salads, sandwiches, burgers, pizza, wings, etc.
- Cleaning up & restocking inventory & kitchen items as needed.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
- Serving drinks and making basic cocktails

Part-time hours: 20-25 per week
Salary: £7.38-£11.67 per hour
