Joining the team in Belfast will give you the opportunity to develop and learn new and exciting skills, in small friendly team who have become an integral part of the wider Centre of Excellence within Deloitte’s Business Tax team.

Responsibilities

Your role will allow you to develop strong relationships with a multitude of tax and finance professionals across a range of industries in the national practice, helping them address their tax administration challenges.

Your role will predominantly involve researching client information, updating records, submission of results to Engagement Managers and tracking the process from start until completion.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Strictly following a defined process and procedure under the guidance of the Team lead.
  • Dealing with administration queries relating to audit approvals, raising charge codes, Customer Due Diligence, contract drafting, on the telephone and by email from Engagement Teams.
  • Input of data and operating a computerised administration system to track admin processes.
  • Filing and storage, electronic or otherwise, of confidential information.
  • Input, monitor, update and administer workflows and status of activities.
  • Support continuous improvements and enhancements to the procedures.
  • Update management reports.

Essential

  • Experience of working in an administrative role.
  • Experience of working in an internal customer facing role.
  • Effective and well-developed communication skills using telephone, email etc.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office 2010 applications, (Word, Excel, Teams etc.)
  • Experience of working in an administrative role.
  • Able to operate a computer system for data entry and interrogation.
  • Strong team working skills.

Desirable

  • Knowledge and experience of using EFiling systems such as Repstor/Meridio.
  • Knowledge and experience of using SWIFT/SAPphire
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Calmness under pressure.
  • Able to follow clearly defined process procedures and protocols.
  • Desire to be flexible and creative to ensure TAS develops to be a Centre of Excellence
