Job description
We are recruiting for both part-time and full-time bar staff to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, creative and hardworking with a real flair and passion for serving high-quality drinks in a fast paced fun and lively environment. The person we are looking for must: have at least one years experience in a high volume bar. Have exceptional customer service skills with a helpful and friendly can-do attitude. Always be attentive and proactive with the ability to respond quickly to the needs of our customers. Be an excellent team player with exceptional communication skills. Must be flexible and work an array of shifts. e.g. Evenings and weekends including bank holidays. Have knowledge of products such as cocktails/craft beers/ales.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure guest satisfaction
- Take and process drink and food orders accurately
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the bar area
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining area
- Provide information and answer questions about menu items, specials, and promotions
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and enforce responsible drinking guidelines
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Knowledge of drink recipes and mixology techniques is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other staff members
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address guest concerns or issues
