Instrumental is a tech driven, artist services business that unlocks the power of the global independent music sector. We use a data-driven approach to identify and provide funding for independent artists through the licensing and purchasing of both tracks from new/emerging talent, and back catalogue tracks.

The Role:


We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our small team to lead on the implementation of our Domo platform, in this role you will:


  • Collect and maintain the set of business reporting requirements
  • Design and build dashboards and reporting solutions for internal use according to the business requirements, and in keeping with the overall reporting strategy
  • Maintain a subset of the reporting solutions for use in embedded customer-facing applications
  • Work with data engineers on design of data schema and data flow optimisation for importing data into the BI platform using automated pipelines
  • Create custom visualisations using libraries
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis on data
  • Setup custom alerts, and training users to self-serve
  • Engage with other departments to foster a good knowledge of the data and how to use it

This is a hybrid role, required to be in the London office 3 days per week, or as much more as you prefer.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • 1-2 years experience in analytics
  • Adept in the use of Domo
  • Good understanding of data modelling and schemas
  • Strong experience with API integrations for data retrieval
  • Gathering and documenting business requirements
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience working in an agile environment
