What You'll Do:
- Provide professional, courteous and timely support to our people across OneWeb
- Create and maintain documentation to help you and others at OneWeb
- Monitor tickets in the OneWeb Service Desk system and process them based on priority to meet agreed SLAs
- Assist in the installation, configuration and troubleshooting of computer hardware and software
- Execute approved changes to licensing, directory and communications systems to fulfill user requests
- Monitor and maintain audio visual systems based on Microsoft Teams in OneWeb's conference rooms
- Provide technical assistance to visiting presenters, vendors and clients
- Actively participate in regular meetings to share ideas and organize work to achieve common goals
What It Takes:
- Minimum three years of experience in a 2nd or 3rd line user-facing support role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrable experience in:
- Modern Windows based systems
- Active Directory and Powershell including security groups, distribution lists, shared mailboxes and permissions
- Microsoft Office suite, Office 365 administration, licensing, OneDrive for Business and SharePoint
- Microsoft Teams
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and responsibly to address peoples' needs as quickly and as efficiently as possible
- A willingness to work flexible hours
What We'd Love:
- Experience supporting smartphones in a managed (Mobile Device Management) environment
- Familiarity with IT technologies such as networking, security, firewalls, VPN and backup/recovery
- Working experience of ITSM tools such as Jira or ServiceNow
- Familiarity with the ITIL framework
- Experience working with Linux would be a big plus
