Head of Performance, Strategy & Operations – UK Commercial
This role will be based at GSK House, UK

As the Head of Performance, Strategy & Operations, UK Commercial, you will have oversight of the entire business, lead a diverse team of talented people, drive performance, and shape the future strategy for GSK UK.
In this highly visible role, you will provide thought partnering and business support to the UK Pharma General Manager and, as a member of UKLT, lead the UK Commercial business on performance, operations and strategy.
To succeed in this role, we are looking for an individual who demonstrates a thorough understanding of the business, has demonstrated the ability to build strong professional relationships with senior management and has exceptional interpersonal skills. This role requires someone who is passionate about driving performance, seeking out innovative solutions to complex problems and having a strategic mindset.
Key Responsibilities:

Operations:
- Lead UK Capability team on key business priorities, including therapy area and marketing/omnichannel
- Lead the UK Meetings (HCPE) team to deliver against commercial plans and objectives
- Responsible for SFI/SFE
- Support the customer facing teams with key processes/resources (Veeva, NBA)

Commercial Governance
- Responsible for UK Commercial Governance Framework
- Line manage Commercial Governance Lead, responsible for key governance processes
- Support UK Commercial operate safely

Business Insight
- Lead the data science and business insight teams
- Influence, implement and embed (through the business insight team) relevant global market research, data, analytics and priority projects in line with local UK business needs.
- Lead the UK Performance Management Process, driving a strong performance culture across the organisation

Customer Experience
- Lead the customer experience team
- Drive the omnichannel transformation of the UK business, working closely with commercial and medical teams
- Act as the link between global tech/omnichannel teams at GSK to implement global strategies and innovation
- Develop and implement the UK omnichannel GTM strategy

Provide strategic thought partnering and business support to the UK Pharma General Manager (GM), and other UKLT members as appropriate.
- Ensure thought partnering and challenge to the GM and UKLT. Resourcefully provide insights, alternative perspectives and solutions to support accelerated delivery of New GSK Strategy.
- Provide support in challenging routines and strive for continuous improvement of UK Commercial delivery.
- Take initiative and/or lead for supporting or delivering key business initiatives

Act as Chief of Staff to the UKLT
- Coordination of the UKLT monthly meetings, preparing the agenda and facilitation of the meetings
- Lead preparation for the Monthly Performance Review (MPR) meetings with Europe, including preparation of the pre-read.
- Business partnering with UKLT to ensure decisions and actions are followed through.
- Lead preparations, including agenda and pre-read, for senior leader country visits, liaising with other chief of staffs to ensure alignment.

- Bachelors’ degree
- Experience working within senior commercial roles within the pharmaceutical industry
- Demonstrated success leading commercial/operational teams at either a brand and/or business level
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability working with senior stakeholders
- Experience working in cross functional teams
- Experience working in omnichannel/digital
- Strong communication skills
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Strong Data Acumen & proficiency with platforms (IQVIA, PowerBI, Azure)
Preferred Qualifications:
