What’s it all about?
The Account team is responsible for strategy, planning, sales and performance management, working with the leadership team for one of our Global Signature clients. The Manager role will focus on commercial issuing within the Account team
Strategy - managing the account plan for commercial issuing as part of the global strategic account plan, leveraging internal & external insights to identify opportunities for developing & delivering new initiatives which will introduce Visa products & services to drive growth and improve the customer experience
Planning - providing programme support on commercial issuing initiatives as well as supporting innovation workshops and thought leadership
Performance managing the contractual relationship for commercial issuing and leading operational excellence
What we expect of you, day to day
As a manager in the Account team, your responsibilities will include
Managing business management activities, including monthly business reviews, executive briefings, tracking contractual commitments, client action plans and governance forums (internal and client-facing)
Developing and tracking delivery against annual plans, and ensuring any joint initiative roadmaps are developed & progress effectively monitored.
Understanding data and insight requirements across business areas, and working with key stakeholders to productionise delivery
Leveraging internal and external insights to drive thought leadership, identifying opportunities, and supporting development of commercially viable business cases and strategic plans, including opportunities to work with the client to enhance the payments ecosystem, leading to increased client value and improved customer experiences
Working with internal stakeholders to co-ordinate responsibilities, reporting, client stakeholder mapping, events & joint workstreams.
Representing commercial issuing requirements on initiatives that that require co-ordination across all the client’s portfolios
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Knowledge, experience and commercial understanding of the payments market- Excellent presentation skills and confident in PowerPoint
- Excellent project management skills
- Excellent analytical skills - ability to translate MI into business plans
- Experience in developing commercial business cases
