Who we are:

We are an independent café, run by two passionate owners. The café was established in 2013 and has evolved to what it is today. As well as the daytime service, the café is capable of hosting private events, offsite catering, and stalls at local markets.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for an energetic barista to join our team. The successful candidate must have a strong work ethic, lots of enthusiasm and be friendly and approachable. They must show commitment and consistency within their work.

Main Job Duties:

This is a full-time position, including working weekends. The successful candidate must be reliable, have good time keeping and be ready to jump straight in to a busy running cafe. You will be expected to learn the menu, including information regarding allergies/dietary requirements, be able to offer full table service, maintain a clean work space whilst adhering to all company processes at all times. You will need to show good knowledge of grinding beans, correct steaming of milk, tampering and demonstrating consistent patterns.

The role requires:

• 1+years Barista experience essential.
• Ability to work at speed, whilst maintaining a high quality of finished product.
• Delivery of excellent customer service; dealing with customer orders, use of an EPOS till system and use of a card machine.
• High standard of cleanliness whilst working and when cleaning the cafe on a close shift.
• Highly motivated
• Ability to deliver table service to a high standard.
• Stock rotation.

Must have at least 1 years’ experience in a similar role and be able to deal with high volume.

Salary: From £10.50 per hour

• Barista experience: 1 year (required)

• customer service: 1 year (preferred)
