Are you looking for a fun and engaging part-time position in a vibrant local cafe and roastery? Café Joyeux, a community cafe and roastery located in the heart of Rockland, Ontario, is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Barista.

Duties & Responsibilities – As a Barista at Café Joyeux, you will be responsible for a variety of duties and responsibilities assigned by the lead shift supervisor and owners.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Preparing specialty coffees
- Greeting and interacting with all guests
- Preparing beverages and food offerings
- Following food and drink batch recipes precisely and accordingly
- Maintaining coffee knowledge on current offerings and confidently and accurately communicating product information to customers
- Responding promptly to customer inquiries, orders, and concerns
- Demonstrating initiative to complete all daily and weekly checklists
- Upholding Café Joyeux standards regarding cleanliness throughout the café
- Following all policies and procedures laid out by Café Joyeux
- Attending training sessions and team meetings
- Assisting café owners during ad-hoc market events and special events
- Other duties as required.

Experience and Attributes:
- Bilingual (French and English)
- A cheerful, punctual, and professional demeanour
- A positive 'can-do' attitude combined with an upbeat personality
- Prior barista and/or hospitality experience is a plus.
We provide a friendly, and fast-paced work environment, extensive training, and opportunities for growth and development. Full training will be provided for all aspects of cafe work, including front of house, food prep, and barista skills.

Part-time hours: 20 per week
Salary: $15.50-$16.00 per hour
