The Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to join our team in Dronfield. This role is critical in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of all site accommodation units and projects to the highest standards. You will be responsible for managing the operational side of the depot alongside a production team, implementing new processes, and ensuring that the site runs to full output efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all operational processes are in line with the company’s procedures and policies;
- Coordinate the installation process to ensure that all cabins are installed efficiently and to the required standards;
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure that they provide high-quality products and services;
- Carry out robust and structured 1-2-1 review meetings with all direct reports;
- Ensure all stock control measures are in place, and the site runs at maximum output efficiency;
- Allocate operatives and agency workers within the depot to ensure that they are efficiently utilised, and that the production team operates at full capacity;
- Ensure that all health and safety matters are strictly controlled and adhered to.
About You
People Management skills are essential for this role as you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring that the team is motivated and that their morale is high;
- Conducting performance reviews to ensure that team members are meeting their targets and KPIs;
- Providing feedback and coaching to team members to help them improve their performance.
