The Stone Roses Bar Leeds is looking for Bar and Floor Staff to join our amazing team. Must enjoy working at night, in a loud, fast paced environment of a nightclub.
You will be required to complete one 8 hour bar shift a week which will vary between Thursday, Friday or Saturday. All shifts will be approximately 10pm – 7am.
we pay national living wage of £10.42 per hour.
21-22 year olds: £10.18
18-20 year olds : £9.50
Working behind the bar you will be required to produce and deliver drinks that meet the company requirements and insure that the service you provide meets with service standards expected and upholds licensing law. Also to ensure the tills balance. You must be polite, friendly and full of zeal. A love of Indie music is also very beneficial. Your main responsibilities will be to identify customer needs. To respond promptly to all customer requests in a polite and friendly manner. To serve drinks correctly using proper equipment and in line with hygiene standards. To be fully knowledgeable of the drink’s menus and products, and be able to explain them to a guest with confidence. To have a good knowledge of licensing law and trading standards regulations. To understand your responsibilities in relation to Health and Safety, Food Safety and Fire Safety. To keep the bar and kitchen area’s clean to meet with company standards. To have a working knowledge of drinks offers and actively sell these to customers. To have a good working relationship with your colleagues, maintaining high levels of communication, teamwork and respect at all times. To use stocks and supplies in appropriate manner to minimise the waste. To log all waste in the correct way. To ensure cash handling procedures are followed and tills balance.
Floor Staff job role will be to ensure you are efficient and productive in your duties and that you provide support to the bartenders and bar manager to meet company service standards. To ensure the venue is clean and to the highest possible standard. Therefore your main responsibilities would be to maintain stock levels on the bar, ensuring the stock in the fridges are rotated (first in first out). To ensure the cellar is kept tidy and stock in cellar is used on a rotational basis. To clean and put the glassware away rotationally. To ensure that the glass wash/dispenser area is kept clean and tidy at all times. To collect glasses and cans, keeping the venue clean. To ensure all waste is put into the correct bins. To work as a team player at all times. To respond promptly to all customer requests in a polite and friendly manner. To ensure the glass washer is clean and thoroughly broken down and the surrounding area is spotless at the end of the night. To ensure the venue is swept at the end of the night. To be aware of and ensure we comply with all Fire, Health and Hygiene and Safety Regulations. To have a good working relationship with your colleagues, maintaining high levels of communication, teamwork and respect at all times. To use stocks and supplies in appropriate manner to minimise the waste.
No previous experience is necessary and on job training will be provided.
