- You will visit several people daily, in their own homes or at Castleberg hospital
- You will provide high quality nursing care to a range of people with varying health care needs
- We push the boundaries of what care is achievable in a person’s hom
- Will I de-skill in community? No, you’ll learn new skills and expand on current ones. We manage syringe drivers, catheters, medicines, urgent community response, wounds and much more
- I’ve never worked in community. We support anyone from preceptor, return to practice and experienced nurses
- I’ve never worked alone, who do I call for help? We’ll support you to have clinical autonomy to make your own decisions. Support is available over the phone
- Isn’t every day the same? Never! Navigating country tracks, specialised clinical care, liaising with other professionals. We’ll support you to expect the unexpected.
