An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered nurse to join the Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) Team at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust , in promoting good IPC practices across our acute setting.
The successful post holder must be adaptable, a skilled change agent with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a resilient disposition. The ability to work within a small team autonomously, managing own time and workload effectively is essential.
The role allows the successful candidate to use their clinical knowledge and develop their IPC skills, whilst working in partnership with the clinical teams to make a real difference in patient outcomes. and promoting patient safety in the reduction of healthcare associated infections.
Previous experience in IPC is not essential but desirable, as training will be given.
In collaboration with other team members of the IPC team, the post holder will be proactive and responsible for the prevention, surveillance, investigation and control of infection at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust.
