Job description
We are looking for an IT Technician who is comfortable during routine maintenance tasks and enjoys troubleshooting. As part of our team, the successful candidate will maintain customer and our network servers and computers and will be trained to repeatedly update them when necessary. You will also be comfortable networking devices. Additionally, you will be responsible for performing some technical IT functions, such as routine server upgrades.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the use and development of computer systems, such as networks and telecommunications, operating systems, databases, mobile computing and application software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve security issues with operating systems, databases, communications equipment and applications.
- Build systems, applications or databases designed to handle and manage risks or data that is confidential or sensitive in nature.
- Plan and implement upgrades to hardware and middleware to improve or maintain performance of the network.
- Recommend the most cost-effective hardware, software or security solutions for business needs.
- Build programming plans to meet specific needs of the business.
- Recommend software applications best suited to each device type.
- Troubleshoot security issues with operating systems, databases, communications equipment and applications.

Salary: £18,774.00-£23,117.00 per year
