Job description
We are looking for pickers and packers to join our busy and rapidly developing online department during our Christmas period. You will be required to work 5 days a week which will include a weekend day. No holiday is to be taken during the temporary contract.The packing job requires you to be able to scan each product at your workstation and make sure the correct product matches what is on your packing slip.The picking job requires you to use a scanner, the scanner gives you a batch of orders to pick and you will need to find the item(s) which appear on your scanner. Once you have completed a batch of orders you will then need to take your scanner back to your station and scan each product which will then give you your shipping label ready for the product to be packed, the process is then repeated.The successful applicant will need to be:Hard workingHave a polite friendly mannerGood customer service skillsWork in a fast paced environmentWork well in a team and on your ownBasic IT skillsYou will be to be literateHave good attention to detailAble to work under pressureRequired to do a trial day.Job Types: Temporary contract, Full-timeContract length: 3-4 monthsSalary: £9.00-£10.70 per hourBenefits:Discounted or free foodOn-site parkingSchedule:10 hour shiftDay shiftEvery weekendWork Location: In person
