Job description
We are excited to be able to offer this fantastic opportunity to work within a passionate acute medicine team at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. You will be able to work across a multitude of different wards with different specialities (including respiratory, diabetes, infectious diseases, thoracic surgery and Healthcare of the Older Person).
You will be providing support to the occupational therapy team and will be assisting registered therapy staff to provide an effective and efficient patient centred service.
You will have the opportunity to support the registered therapists with assessments, rehabilitation, referrals and completing community visits.
We will offer regular training and support as well as a robust induction programme.
