Calling all Customer Services Advisers who would like to work for an organisation who has achieved the Customer Service Excellence Accreditation since 2010.
Customer Services is a great gateway to a career within the local authority. We are the first point of contact for approx.20 different areas of the council. Housing Benefits, Council Tax, Blue Badges and School Admissions to name a few……
What is the job?
You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment assisting members of the borough to access council services. Providing a first class customer experience dealing with enquires over the phone, in person, on-line and by email
Customer Services, answered over 157,000 customers calls, and processed over 50,000 emails last year. And we can’t wait for you to be a part of it!
What do I need?
Through our in house training we will provide you with all the training and support you need to get you up to speed. All you need to be a success is:
- A passion for helping others and delivering a first-class customer service
- An ability to effectively communicate with people from all walks of life
- Patience to ensure each customer has a full understanding of the information we discuss with them
- To be a team player who is not afraid to try something new
- Determination and resilience to see a job through
