Davidson of Darras Hall is looking for a part-time Cleaner/Bakery Assistant to join our team in Darras Hall, Ponteland.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work in a fun, fast-paced bakery.
Our Daily Production starts around 03.00am with the shop opening at 07.00am and closing at 17:00pm
Working hours for this job will start after 1:00pm and are negotiable.
Duties Include:
General Cleaning, and assisting the Bakery Owner and Head Baker in the daily operation and cleanliness of the bakery.
- Cleaning and mopping of floor and all work surfaces.
- Keeping the kitchen area clean and tidy, and cleaning specific equipment.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Bakery Owner and Head Baker.
- Hygiene Training and qualifications will be provided during work time.
- Staff uniform is provided.
Experience:
Experience in a food service environment preferred.
- Although experience is not essential; duties and responsibilities include good hygiene and a good positive attitude towards work and colleagues.
- Ability to work well with others as part of a team.
- Ability to multitask. Must be able to follow instructions, be organized, and have good attention to detail.
- Must be able to read English.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 -30 per week
Salary: £10,836.80-£16,255.20 per year
