SPORTS COACH (with an interest in badminton)
Salary: £10 - £15 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications
About the Job
We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic and fun loving badminton coach (with a badminton coaching quaification) for work in the Huddersfield, Greater Manchester and Calderdale area. You would be working with children aged 6-18 years in schools, and community sessions. We provide training, and support to gain coaching qualifications.
Applicants will need to be able to drive to venues and work evenings and weekends in addition to school hours.
ViveSport is a growing business and we are continually attracting more coaching contracts so we are keen to attract a confident and adaptable sports coach who wants to move forward with us to an exciting future.
Partial uniform and all equipment is provided.

What we need from you – qualifications, experience etc.
- Minimum Level 1 Coaching qualification (for the right person we would be willing to put you through the necessary training to gain this qualification).
- Able to drive and have own transport
- A current DBS, First Aid and Safeguarding certificates (if you don’t have these you must be willing to undertake the necessary training with us before you can work with participants)
- Experience of playing badminton at club level or above.
- Willing to take part in induction; Enhanced DBS check; Safeguarding and other netball and sport safety related courses.
- Experience of working with children and young people in a sports or activity setting, either professionally or in a voluntary capacity.
- You must be available to work evenings and weekends.
