Automation Engineer - Installation and Service
BASIC SALARY £36,400 - £42,250 (basic plus paid travel time)
OTE £40,040 - £53,475 (overtime plus standby)

This is a varied and interesting role for family run business based in Cardiff that has been operating in the Automation, Fire & Security industry for over 30 years. Job Summary
· Full-time permanent position
· Reporting to Automation Manager & Operations Team Leader
· On-call 1 week in 9 (STC)
· The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, testing, maintenance, fault finding, repair and servicing of Automatic Doors, Gates, Bollards, Barriers, and Roller Shutters
· Preferred experience of as many aspects of Automation as possible
· The skillset to work on our customers assets delivering first rate service every time
· Experience working on multiple systems, including manufacturers such as Dorma, Entrématic, Record, FAAC, BFT, Avon Barriers etc
· Willingness to develop knowledge of other aspects of the business (Fire, Security & Fire Doors)
Required Education, Skills & Qualifications
· 3 years automation experience or experience in a related discipline
· ADSA BS/EN16005 certified preferable
· Basic understanding of electrical works
· Full UK driving licence
· No criminal record
· If successful, candidate must complete, submit, and pass a full security vetting clearance
· IPAF licence preferable
